The Opportunity: Nurturing Early Years Growth
This is a fantastic full-time opportunity within a highly-regarded nursery setting in North Surrey. As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you'll be instrumental in delivering an engaging and stimulating Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. This long-term contract offers stability and has strong potential for permanency, allowing you to build lasting relationships with children and their families within a close-knit community. You'll contribute directly to creating a positive and inspiring start to every child's educational journey.
Your Role: Key Contributions to Child Development
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, your key contributions will include:
Planning and leading creative, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework, tailored to children's individual needs and interests.
Observing, assessing, and accurately recording children's development and progress, using these insights to inform future planning.
Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child feels secure, valued, and encouraged to explore.
Building strong, positive relationships with children, their parents/carers, and colleagues, fostering open communication.
Acting as a key person for a group of children, taking responsibility for their well-being and development.
Ensuring all safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met, prioritising the safety of all children.What We Require: Essential Qualifications & Skills
To thrive in this nurturing role, you'll need:
A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g., Cache Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Children's Learning and Development) is essential.
Proven experience working as a Nursery Practitioner within an early years setting.
A strong, in-depth understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for early childhood development and a child-centred approach.
