Nursery Assistant – Full-Time Temporary Placement – (GU8) 🌟
Velox Education is delighted to be working with a unique, family-run Nursery in Godalming.
This full-time temporary opportunity offers you the chance to bring your Early Years skills and experience to an exceptional woodland setting, with an attached Forest School.
🌳 About the Nursery
The Nursery provides loving care and outstanding early years education for children ranging from 3 months to 4 years of age. Unlike larger chains, this family-run nursery provides a nurturing home from home environment where our children feel safe, valued and understood.

👶 Your Role as a Nursery Assistant
As part of the dedicated team, you’ll play a key role in supporting children’s growth and development:
* Assisting with fun, play-based learning activities across baby, toddler, and preschool rooms
* Helping to deliver the EYFS curriculum in a nurturing and creative way
* Supporting outdoor learning adventures in the woodland area
* Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety standards are upheld at all times
✅ What We’re Looking For
* Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
* A caring, positive, and energetic approach to working with children
* Flexibility to support children across different age groups
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enthusiasm for creative and outdoor learning
