Job Title: Nursery Practitioner
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £105 - £110 per day
Empowering Learning is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 Nursery Practitioners to join a vibrant Primary School in the Stockton-on-Tees area. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate individuals to support children's early learning and development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
About the Role
We are looking for motivated nursery practitioners who are committed to making a positive impact in the early years. You will be part of a supportive team, helping children thrive emotionally, socially, and educationally.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team
Be patient, calm, and bring a good sense of humour
Set and uphold high expectations for positive behaviour
Provide daily care, including feeding, nappy changing, and support with personal hygiene
Have experience working with Early Years children
Assist in planning and delivering educational activities aligned with the EYFS
Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
Take initiative while also following guidance from the Nursery Manager and EYFS Lead
Be committed to supporting all children to reach their potential
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and familiesKey Requirements:
Experience in a pre-school or early years setting
Level 2 Nursery Practitioner (Essential)
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
Understanding of child development and early years legislation
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
