Nursery Practitioners
Rate of pay £12.50 per hour
Location: Cheltenham
Start date: July 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday 7am – 6.30pm
Core Education are partnering nursery schools around the Cheltenham area. They require caring and creative Nursery practitioners to work full time, Monday to Friday to support their babies and children. They operate a fully inclusive policy, where their children and their families really are at the centre of all they do. Safeguarding is integral to all aspects of the nursery routines and activities.
Ideal candidates for the Nursery Practitioner role will hold a full and relevant childcare qualification Level 2 or level 3 and have experience in supporting children and their families in a variety of ways, to promote positive relationships and outcomes for our children.
The nurseries we work with offer Monday to Friday daytime care between the hours of 7:00am – 6.30pm, for children from 3 months old – 4 years of age. Nursery Practitioners should be available to work these hours.
Requirements for the role
A full and relevant Childcare qualification
Able to commit to full time hours between 7am and 6.30pm
Experience of working with children
An understanding of planning against the EYFS
Thorough understanding of safeguarding children
Experience in planning for development through play 0-4 years old
An enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to have one processed and put on the update service
A full employment history with any gaps explained.
