Job Description
Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a passionate, confident Room Leader to join one of our friendly and supportive Nurseries in Northampton.
About the Role:
As Room Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a team of practitioners in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5. You'll plan exciting, age-appropriate activities, support children's learning and development, and act as a role model to your team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a room team to deliver outstanding EYFS practice
Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and well-being
Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies
Mentor junior staff and help with their ongoing training and development
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using online systems
Requirements:
Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) - full and relevant
Previous experience in a room leader or senior practitioner role
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
Strong leadership and communication skills
A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
