Job Description

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity? Randstad Education is working with a highly regarded nursery setting in [Insert Area/Region] to recruit an experienced and nurturing Nursery Teacher for a maternity cover position, starting in September and continuing until March. The Role This is a full-time, term-time position covering a maternity leave in a busy and vibrant nursery class. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to a group of enthusiastic and curious learners. You'll work closely with other early years professionals to maintain a happy, safe, and stimulating environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. Key responsibilities: Delivering high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that support all areas of development Conducting observations, assessments, and maintaining accurate records of progress Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment Communicating regularly with parents and carers about children's development Working collaboratively with support staff and senior leadership What We're Looking For We're seeking a confident, creative, and experienced Nursery Teacher who can hit the ground running in a busy early years environment. You should be adaptable, enthusiastic, and fully committed to creating the best possible outcomes for young children.
