We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery/EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team.  As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, implementing age-appropriate curriculum, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.  Position: Nursery/EYFS Teaching Assistant  Location: South Benfleet Salary: £85-£120 per day  Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time available   Key Responsibilities of a Nursery Teaching Assistant:  As a Nursery Teaching Assistant you will assist the nursery staff in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.  Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction.  As a Nursery Teaching Assistant you will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where children can learn and thrive.  Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.  As a Nursery Teaching Assistant you will assist with daily routines, including meal times, toileting, and outdoor play, ensuring the well-being and happiness of all children.  Contribute to observations and assessments of children's development, helping to monitor progress and plan next steps.  Qualifications and Skills of a Nursery Teaching Assistant:  Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent is desirable.  Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is desirable.  Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its principles.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and caring approach to working with children.  Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and education.  What We Offer:   Competitive pay rates  Access to CPD training library with over £8000 worth of courses, at GSL we support your professional development!  A supportive and collaborative work environment  Opportunities for continuous professional development and advancement  An opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives  Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that  successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.   If you are interested in this role, please click 'apply now' to submit your full and up-to-date CV, and one of our dedicated consultants will be in touch within 24 hours
