Nursery Teaching Assistant – Full Time, Permanent
Milton Keynes
Salary: £25,183–£27,711 FTE (£21,704–£23,883 actual)
Hours: 36.85 hours/week (term time + INSET), Mon–Wed 8:20–16:00, Thu–Fri 8:20–16:30
Start date: September 2025 – Permanent
The School and Role
A growing primary school in Milton Keynes with a newly opened nursery is seeking an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to join the team in September. You will work alongside the Early Years Lead to deliver engaging activities for 3–5-year-olds, supporting learning both indoors and outdoors within a forest school enriched curriculum. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the nursery provision and make a meaningful impact on young learners from day one.
Requirements
Please note: Candidates will only be considered if they have the right requirements and proven UK experience in a similar role.
Proven experience supporting nursery-aged children in a UK school or nursery setting
A clear understanding of the EYFS framework
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A proactive and caring approach to supporting young learners
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one
