Nursery Teaching Assistant - Brixton Primary School - September
Pertemps Education are pleased to be supporting one of our fantastic schools in their current search for a Nursery Teaching Assistant, based in Brixton, to begin in September 2025.

Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
Support Nursery-aged pupils, with a particular focus on those with special educational needs (SEN)
Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to help children access the Early Years curriculum
Assist with the development of communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and therapists to implement individual support strategies
Monitor pupil progress and contribute to review meetings and planning
Foster a nurturing, structured environment that enables all children to feel safe and supported
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with young children, ideally within Early Years or Nursery settings
Be confident supporting pupils with SEN, including speech and language delays, autism, and developmental needs
Be patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children reach their potential
Work effectively within a team and follow professional guidance from school staff and specialists
Be reliable, proactive, and committed to creating an inclusive learning environment
Have a strong interest in pursuing a career in education, teaching, or child development
