Salary: £90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive early years setting in Hucknall. This position starts from September 2025 and is ideal for individuals who are caring, proactive, and dedicated to the development and well-being of children aged 3-5.
Key Responsibilities for the Nursery TA:
Provide high-quality support to nursery-aged children during learning and play.
Assist the class teacher with daily routines, planning, and the delivery of activities.
Support children's development across personal, social, emotional, and academic areas.
Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
Encourage language development, early literacy, and numeracy skills.
Observe and record children's progress and contribute to planning and assessments.
Requirements for the Nursery TA:
Experience working with nursery or early years children (desirable but not essential).
A warm, patient, and caring personality with strong communication skills.
A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
The ability to work effectively within a team and follow instruction.
A recognised childcare qualification (such as Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years) is preferred but not essential.
Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
