We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead our well-established, CQC-rated Good nursing home in Newcastle. As the Nursing Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management and clinical oversight of the home. You will ensure that residents receive safe, effective, and person-centred care while maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and company standards. Our home currently has no significant challenges or compliance issues, making this an ideal opportunity for a confident Nursing Home Manager who wants to focus on quality improvement, staff development, and resident wellbeing.
To succeed as our Nursing Home Manager, you will need to be a qualified nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with a valid NMC registration and a proven track record in a senior leadership role within a nursing or complex care environment. You should have a stable work history and the ability to demonstrate effective management of services supporting individuals with complex needs, including PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, epilepsy, dementia, and neuro-disability.
The ideal Nursing Home Manager will also have strong knowledge of clinical governance, safeguarding, infection control, and end-of-life care. You will be a confident communicator, able to motivate your team, engage with families, and ensure that every resident receives compassionate, high-quality care.
