About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Manager to lead a warm and welcoming nursing home in Plymouth. Our client provides high-quality residential and nursing care with a strong focus on supporting individuals living with dementia.

As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical, personal, and social care, while fostering a positive, supportive environment for both residents and staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader who is passionate about person-centred care and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day running of the home ensuring compliance with CQC standards

Lead, support, and develop the care and nursing team

Maintain excellent standards of clinical practice and dementia care

Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively

Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners

Drive quality initiatives and promote a culture of safety, dignity, and respect

Requirements

Valid NMC PIN (Registered Nurse – Adult or Mental Health)

Proven managerial or deputy management experience within a nursing or care home setting

Strong background in dementia care

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and quality frameworks

A genuine passion for delivering exceptional resident-focused care
