About the Role
As Nursing Home / Care Home Operations Manager / Regional Manager / Operations Director / COO, you will oversee the performance, compliance, and strategic development of care homes, ensuring excellence in service delivery, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance (CQC). This role combines hands-on operational leadership with long-term strategic vision.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop multiple care home teams across the region
Drive operational excellence and ensure full CQC compliance
Oversee quality assurance and continuous improvement projects
Implement business development strategies and change management initiatives
Shape the future direction of the organisation as part of the senior leadership team
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred elderly care
Build strong stakeholder relationships and promote best practices
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic leader with a strong track record in elderly care operations.
Essential Experience:
Previous role as Care Home Operations Manager, Operations Director, COO, Nursing Home Director, or Regional Manager in a care setting
Expertise in nursing home management, quality assurance, and regulatory standards
Deep understanding of CQC compliance, care governance, and risk management
Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and workforce performance
Proven ability to lead large teams and deliver organisational change
Desirable:
Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN) is advantageous but not essential
Experience working with small-to-medium sized care groups
Strategic mindset with a passion for care excellence
