As a result of successful company growth, we are looking for an O&M Engineer to join our operations and maintenance team based across the Midlands.

About the role
As a O&M Engineer you will be working within Energy Centres/ Hospital plant rooms etc.. this plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of mechanical systems that generate and distribute energy (such as heating, cooling, and power)
Roles and Responsibilities-
* Delivering Planned Preventative and Reactive Electrical Maintenance for plantrooms and renewable energy systems at a number of high-profile public sector sites in addition to private sector facilities
* Supporting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Providing technical assistance to clients, contractors and work colleagues within sphere of operation and fulfilling customer service requirements while meeting QHSE objectives
* Ensuring statutory and mandatory inspections are satisfactorily carried out and documented in line with the company’s management system
* Accurately maintaining and submitting relevant documentation and records as required
* Undertaking subcontractor management where necessary
* Responding to issues as part of a callout rota
What you will need
* Recognised electrical engineering qualification or time-served
* Demonstrable electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience covering things such as heating, refrigeration, pumping or similar plantroom equipment
* Forces leavers and Ex-Forces members will transferrable experience are also encouraged to apply
* Knowledge of/experience with Renewable Energy technologies such as Heat Pumps and Solar will be highly advantageous
* Full UK manual driving licence
