Occupational Therapist
Location: Manchester
Contract: 12-month fixed-term maternity cover
Hours: 2-3 days per week
Salary: Up to £44,000 pro rata
We’re seeking a passionate and committed Occupational Therapist to join a supportive environment for a 12-month maternity cover contract.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
* Provide occupational therapy services within schools in your region.
* Collaborate with school communities to support high-quality provision for students.
* Deliver training and implement interventions to help young people in their daily lives.
* Offer environmental advice to enable students to access their education effectively.

About You
* HCPC registered
* 2-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
* Previous experience working in a school environment.
* Knowledge of the occupational therapy process, with an understanding of a range of assessments and interventions, including sensory processing and SEMH.
* Previous management or supervisory experience would be advantageous.
* Ability to work creatively and flexibly to support children with additional needs.
* Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with a remote therapy team and wider professionals.
