Pulmonary Rehab Band 7 Occupational Therapist Role
Job Title: Band 7 Occupational Therapist
Location: Orpington
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing

Premises base and Working Locations : Beckenham Beacon, Orpington Methodist Church, Central Court, occasional home visits
Assignment commencement date ASAP
Likely assignment duration Currently unknown likely to be at least a month but probably longer
Required working pattern/hours - (Mon-Fri) & shift times Mon – Fri (Apply online only)
· Initial and discharge assessments for Pulmonary Rehabilitation
· Running Pulmonary Rehabilitation classes and delivering education to patients in a community setting
· Completing respiratory assessments on patients with a range of confirmed respiratory conditions including COPD, bronchiectasis and interstitial lung disease, formulating appropriate physiotherapy treatment plans
· Onward referrals and liaisons with other healthcare professionals including respiratory nurses, consultants and GPs
· Must be a car driver
· Previous respiratory physiotherapy experience is essential, has to have some previous experience of Pulmonary Rehabilitation
· Must have previously run exercise classes and delivered education to patients
