Occupational Therapist (Adult Social Care)
Contract: Full time locum contract
Location: Hybrid working - Ipswich and Suffolk/remote
Flexible arrangements: 2-3 day office/home
Rate of pay: £36p/h Umbrella
Our Local Authority Client are recruiting an locum Occupational Therapist to support their team in across Ipswitch and Suffolk.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and record assessments, notes, and recommendations accurately using internal databases.
Develop, implement, and review STEP plans with clients, setting and monitoring reablement goals.
Prepare and submit applications and specifications for DFGs, CES, and housing adaptations.
Carry out manual handling assessments and reviews, including reducing double to single-handed care.
Assess under the Care Act for minor and major housing adaptations in social and private sectors.
Work independently in the community with familiarity of lone working practices.
Use LAS system effectively for case recording and reportingRequirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Knowledge of minor and major adaptations in both social and private housing sector.
