Job Description
Occupational Therapist (Adult Social Care)
Location: Suffolk (West, Ipswich, or North localities)
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2-3 days office-based, 2 days WFH
Rate: £35 per hour (umbrella)
Contract: 6 months
Our Local Authority client are recruiting a number of locum Occupational Therapists across their 3 localities to support proactive reviews and assessments across the Directorate. This forms part of their preparation for the upcoming CQC assessment, supported by the CLT.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe and timely front-line OT services within the Adult Social Care Directorate
Support triage and streamline coordination between health and social care teams
Reduce waiting lists by addressing duplicated referrals and bottlenecks
Work with external care providers to ensure safe moving and handling practices
Review care packages to ensure value for money and effective use of equipment
Assess and review double-handed care packages.Requirements:
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
