Occupational Therapist (Paediatrics)
Full time, permanent
Term time only
£36,507 - £44,103 per annum (inclusive of school holidays)

Our private client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist for their independent specialist day school in Liverpool on a permanent basis.
The School offers high-quality education for boys and girls with special educational needs such as ADHD, autism, speech and language difficulties, and social and emotional challenges.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for children and young people with complex needs, including neurodevelopmental conditions, developmental trauma, and SEN.
Use clinical formulation to design and deliver individualised, evidence-based interventions that support functional independence, emotional regulation, and engagement in daily activities.
Collaborate closely with education, residential, and clinical colleagues to provide joined-up, holistic support across both school and home settings.
Deliver training, workshops, and consultations to education and care teams, enhancing their understanding and implementation of clinically-informed practices.Requirements:
Be a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC
Experience in delivering therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs.
