Occupational Therapist
Location: (Apply online only) High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NN
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 8+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 31.46 per hour

Responsibilities
Assess and make recommendations for major adaptations and complex equipment, including preparing sketches, reading plans, and providing detailed specifications for major works.
Work collaboratively in a multi-professional team to conduct complex occupational therapy assessments, support planning, and reviews for individuals with diverse health conditions and their carers.
Manage, plan, prioritize, and progress complex cases effectively.
Assess for and recommend both simple and complex equipment, review their effectiveness, and teach safe use of equipment in compliance with relevant legislation, policy, and guidelines on safe working practices.
Person Specification
Excellent knowledge, skills, and experience in occupational therapy, particularly in assessing and recommending major adaptations and specialist equipment.
Understanding of the legal social care framework and housing legislation.
Ability to work autonomously, prioritize, and plan own workload efficiently.
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary setting.
Possession of a professional occupational therapy qualification recognized by the HCPC.
