A well-established specialist education provider in the East of England is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic in-house clinical team. Recognised for creating supportive, person-centred environments, they offer the freedom to work creatively while contributing to high-quality, holistic care for pupils with neurodivergence, SEMH needs, and developmental trauma.
Your Role as an Occupational Therapist:
Conduct specialist OT assessments addressing sensory, motor, and functional skills.
Deliver evidence-based interventions that foster independence and participation in learning.
Work closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary colleagues to embed OT strategies across the school day.
Contribute to staff training, consultation, and the development of whole-school approaches to wellbeing.
Maintain clear, accurate documentation in line with professional standards.
What We're Looking For:
HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist with a recognised OT degree.
Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, neurodivergence, or trauma-related needs.
Strong understanding of sensory processing, motor skills, and functional life skills.
