Locum Occupational Therapist – Single-Handed Care Review
Single-handed care training (must be clearly evidenced on CV)
Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Rate: £31.97 per hour
Contract: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Hours: 09:00 – 17:30
* Tripod are seeking an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join a team based in Shropshire and support a Single-Handed Care Review project.
* This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference by reviewing existing care packages and providing equipment that reduces the reliance on carers, increases independence, and enhances client wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake 10 single-handed care assessments per week across a 15-week period.
* Assess and review care packages in line with the Care Act (2014).
* Order, prescribe, and manage equipment to reduce the need for double-handed care.
* Work collaboratively with the Adult Social Care team to review and update existing support plans.
* Promote independence, dignity, and improved outcomes for service users.
Requirements.
* Strong background in adult social care and equipment provision.
* Ability to manage a full caseload within set timescalesBefore You Apply
