Community Occupational Therapist
North East Locality Team (Tower Hamlets)
Full time locum contract
£39.81 p/h Umbrella
We are recruiting a Community Occupational Therapist for our local authority client in North East London.
Key responsibilities:
Carry out complex Occupational Therapy assessments within the community.
Complete manual handling assessments and recommend appropriate equipment.
Advise on and implement optimal care techniques to promote independence and safety.
Assess for and recommend housing adaptations, including minor and major works.
Work collaboratively within an integrated locality team alongside health and social care colleagues.
Provide professional advice and support to service users, carers, and other professionals.Requirements:
Must have a Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy and must have current HCPC registration.
At least 2 years post qualification experience.
