Occupational Therapist - Private Mental Health
Full-time | 37.5 hours | Romford
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join a private mental health hospital set within nine acres of therapeutic countryside grounds, supporting adults with complex mental health needs. You'll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care.
Key Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive OT assessments covering physical, cognitive and emotional needs.
Develop and deliver individualised, evidence-based treatment plans.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support functional independence.
Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental adjustments to support daily living.
Contribute to care planning, documentation and ongoing clinical risk management.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and support patients' families/carers.
Requirements
BSc (Hons) / Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
HCPC registration essential.
Experience in mental health, neuro-rehab or another specialist OT setting desirable.
Strong communication, coaching and therapeutic engagement skills.
Ability to work compassionately in environments that may be emotionally and sensory demanding.
