Ocean Operations Coordinator - South Manchester
Are you looking to launch or grow your career in international logistics? Adecco is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading transport and logistics provider for the role of Ocean Operations Coordinator based in South Manchester.
£28,500-£33,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
As an Ocean Operations Coordinator, you will:
Manage daily import/export operations for Manchester-based clients.
Prepare and submit Customs entries.
Liaise with clients regarding documentation, deliveries, and charges.
Provide quotations and respond to inquiries professionally.
Use CargoWise 1 (CW1) to load jobs and monitor ETAs.
Handle account management, invoicing, and documentation including PODs and C88s.
Coordinate with branch offices and warehouse teams.
Support the Branch Manager with additional tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
A confident telephone manner and strong customer service skills.
Clear and professional communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CargoWise experience is a plus.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of HMRC Entry Software, Tariffs, and Port Inventory Systems is advantageous.
Performance Indicators
Accuracy and timeliness of customs entries and documentation.
Positive client feedback and effective account management.
Compliance with internal audits and operational procedures.
