Office Administrator
£25,000-£28,000, on the outskirts of Knaresborough, office based, on site parking, 37.5 hours per week, modern bright offices.
We are currently recruiting an Office Administrator for this locally based business. This role will involve a variety of administrative duties, supporting various teams across the business. You will work in bright modern offices and be an integral part of the team.
You will be the face and voice of the company as you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and incoming calls. Training will be provided but we are looking for someone who is friendly, confident on a computer and keen to be part of a busy office team.
Office Administrator Responsibilities will include:
Meeting and greeting clients and visitors to the site
Answer all incoming calls, deal with enquiries and transfer calls to colleagues
Update all company fleet vehicle details, book MOTs and services when required
Conduct fire safety, health and safety and risk assessments regularly throughout the offices
Maintain and update current filing system
Adhere to all company compliance and GDPR policies and procedures
Arrange regular services and update logs
Ordering office supplies, stationery, equipment
Assist with report writing, creating presentations and internal company communications Requirements for this Office Administrator role:
Have a good level of English and maths, GCSE or equivalent
Good IT skills and competent with Microsoft Office & Teams
Professional telephone manner
Good organisational and time management skills
Previous experience in an administration role This is a full time office based role, you will work 37.5 hours per week alongside a friendly team of people.There is fresh fruit delivered weekly and regular lunch events where you will get to meet the team and learn about their jobs.
This Office Administrator role would suit someone who has worked as an office administrator, receptionist, secretary, coordinator or similar. However if you are looking for your first role in an office, training can be provided but we are looking for a motivated and driven candidate who has their own transport due to location of the offices. You will have good IT skills and be a team player.
