Office Administrator - Engineering & Construction Support
Our client, a well-established company within the engineering and construction sector, is seeking an organised and ICT-savvy Office Administrator to join their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, supporting both service and technical operations.
The Role
As the Office Administrator, you will provide vital support to the Service Operations Manager and wider team. You will be responsible for keeping office processes running efficiently, assisting with warranty claim documentation, and helping to manage procurement and stock records. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, service staff, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver day-to-day administrative support, including document control, scheduling, and data entry.
Assist with warranty claims paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support procurement and stock management processes, including purchase orders and supplier liaison.
Update and maintain business systems and online platforms, including order processing tools and company databases.
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation to support service and operational teams.
Coordinate logistics and service schedules when required.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in office administration or service coordination.
Strong ICT skills, with proficiency in MS Office and online business platforms.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident in managing multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive problem-solver who can adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
Background in engineering, construction, or service-based industries.
Experience with procurement or stock management processes.
Familiarity with online ordering or inventory management systems.
Package
Salary €35,000 - €40,000
Full time, office based
