Office Manager / Bookkeeper West Edinburgh based | hybrid working available Permanent role | Full Time hours | 8:00am to 4:00pm with early finish on a Friday Salary up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) Search Consultancy are delighted to be working with a leading independent construction firm based in the West end of Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an autonomous & somewhat standalone Office Management role where you will be responsible for a wide range of Financial & Administration duties, keeping the office ticking over for the business and allowing the Director to focus on site-based project work. Duties involved in this role will include: * Processing daily entries & invoicing using Quickbooks software * Preparation of monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations & VAT returns * Processing weekly and monthly payroll including processing timesheets, issuing payslips and recording pension contributions * Carrying out general office management duties including answering incoming calls & emails, dealing with incoming & outgoing mail, filing & ordering of office supplies when required * Carrying out HR administration including completion of new staff inductions, ensuring appropriate training is completed, document management including CSCS cards, and leave / absence management * Management of administration processes around the company's vehicle fleet ensuring services & MOT's are up to date * Management of supplier contracts, subscriptions & completion of forms * Various other Office Management & Administration duties as required In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include: * Previous experience within a similar Office Management role with exposure to Bookkeeping or Finance duties in line with the above - this experience is ESSENTIAL and candidates with experience using Quickbooks would be preferred, although this is not essential * Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal * Solid organisational & time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a sometimes very busy workload effectively If this is the role for you, apply now!
