Are you an office manager or Senior Administrator who gets things done ? Great at keeping everything ticking behind the scenes? Do you enjoy having a variety throughout the day?
A well-established, successful and growing building services company is on the lookout for a brilliant Office Manager to run their office. The role is currently based in Ilkley, but they're relocating to a new office space in Yeadon later this summer.
You'll be the go-to person who keeps everything organised and moving, be the glue that holds the team together.
While you'll be involved in supporting things like onboarding and general admin around people processes, this isn't a stepping-stone into HR . We're looking for someone who loves being at the centre of a busy office and wants to grow with the business in a long-term, all-rounder role.
What you'll be doing:
Overseeing smooth day-to-day office operations
Managing admin staff and coordinating activities with the senior team
Handling supplier relationships, ordering office equipment, and managing the company fleet (insurance, MOTs, vehicle records)
Supporting staff onboarding/offboarding, organising meetings, company events, and accommodation bookings
Helping compile wage and expenses data, and processing invoices and petty cash
Supporting compliance, health and safety records, training logs and company accreditations
Keeping everything organised, up to date, and running to a high standard
Who we are looking for:
Previous experience in an Office Manager or Operations/Admin Manager role
Organised, proactive, and good at spinning plates
Strong communicator and confident dealing with everyone from suppliers to Directors
Someone who genuinely enjoys teamwork, company culture, and making a difference
Knowledge of construction/engineering environments is a bonus, but not essential
