Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Office Manager, to lead the administrative team, support the Managing Director and manage budgets and suppliers. This is a flagship Infrastructure scheme in the Middlesbrough area. Job duties: Develop and manage all office systems and procedures to ensure operational efficiency. Manage the administrative team, allocating workloads and ensuring consistent support. Provide high-level secretarial support to the Managing Director. Oversee invoice processing, supplier contracts, and procurement to ensure compliance and value. Ensure the office meets all Health & Safety, security, and statutory requirements. Manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and external service providers. Support the Business Continuity Plan and champion company values, with a focus on Zero Harm and sustainability. Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience managing a busy office environment and leading a team. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, work on your own initiative, and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships at all levels. A collaborative team player with a strong customer-focused mindset. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and excellent general IT skills. Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
