Are you an experienced and motivated Office Manager looking for your next challenge?
We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to take ownership of the daily administrative operations while also playing a key role in cultural initiatives that shape and strengthen the workplace of a global manufacturing company based in Ely.
This is a varied role that offers exposure across the organisation, working closely with senior managers and colleagues at all levels. If you are a natural problem-solver with excellent communication and organisational skills, we’d love to hear from you.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm. Hybrid working available after initial training period, 2 days working from home.

Duties and responsibilities of the Office Manager include:
* Office Administration – Ensuring smooth, compliant day-to-day operations.
* Executive Support – Providing admin support to senior managers, attending meetings, supporting travel and accommodation and tracking action items.
* Events & Visitors – Organising workshops, conferences, celebrations, and hosting visiting guests.
* Internal Communications – Supporting newsletters, SharePoint content, and team briefings.
* Outreach & Networking – Building local connections with schools, colleges, charities, and business networks.
* Business Planning – Supporting managers in setting and cascading objectives.
* Budget Management – Overseeing office-related spending, expenses, and workflows.
* Projects & Culture – Driving cultural change, empowerment, and employee engagement initiatives.
* Visuals & Accreditations – Coordinating engaging office visuals and supporting ‘Investors in People’ accreditation.
* General Admin – Managing shared inboxes, travel, and ad-hoc office duties.
Requirements for the Office Manager include:
* 5+ years’ experience in office management, or a similar operational support role.
* A proven track record of independently managing office operations.
* Experience supporting senior managers and/or cultural and internal communications
* Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* A detail-driven mindset with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
* A degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
