Sherlock Healthcare Services Ltd is a well-established provider of residential childcare, dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people with complex needs, including EBD, ADHD, and ASD.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Responsible Individual to lead our children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
* Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full compliance with Ofsted and relevant regulations.
* Staff Development: Recruit, train, and support a skilled and motivated team.
* Safeguarding & Care: Ensure the welfare and development of children and young people.
* Financial Management: Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with local authorities and key partners.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
✅ Strong experience in residential childcare, preferably in a leadership role.
✅ Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and relevant regulations.
✅ Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
✅ A compassionate, child-focused approach with a commitment to safeguarding.
