Job Description

Our client, a leading organisation in the utilities and energy sector, is seeking an experienced OHL Project Manager to join their growing Transmission & Distribution team across Bicester, Oxford, Swindon, Marlborough and surrounding areas. This permanent role will focus on delivering overhead line projects across LV, 11kV and 33kV networks, supporting major distribution network frameworks and critical infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Managing overhead line (OHL) projects from inception through to completion Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders Monitoring project performance, programme schedules, and costs Conducting site visits and maintaining strong client relationships Preparing project reports and implementing risk mitigation strategies Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulationsJob Requirements: Proven experience managing OHL projects within the utilities or power sector Strong knowledge of LV, 11kV and 33kV networks DNO experience, ideally within a framework environment Working knowledge of 132kV systems would be advantageous Excellent project management and organisational skills Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities Full UK driving licence Relevant project management qualification or equivalent experienceBenefits: Company vehicle and fuel card 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy additional leave Employer pension contribution scheme (7%) Life assurance cover Overtime opportunities Clear progression opportunities towards Senior Project Manager levelIf you have significant overhead line project experience and are looking to join a growing team delivering critical utility infrastructure projects, we would love to hear from you
