On Site AV Technician
£35,000 - £40,000 Salary (DOE)
Twickenham
08:30 - 17:00
Role:
As an On Site AV Technician, you will provide crucial support to our facility by performing preventative maintenance, conducting pre-match checks, managing incidents, and collaborating with the team.
Duties:
Act as the primary point of contact for all audio visual needs at our facility.
Conduct daily scheduled preventative maintenance visits and maintain detailed records.
Perform pre-match checks and provide thorough reports to ensure optimal performance.
Deliver exceptional on-site support, including weekends and bank holidays.
Accurately log and manage all incidents to ensure timely resolution.
Maintain an inventory of all AV equipment on site.
Conduct annual Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) to ensure safety and compliance.
Assist with the commissioning of Audio-visual integrated solutions.
Deinstall and reinstall AV equipment as needed.
Conduct technical site surveys to identify and address any issues.
Provide customer training on AV system operation.
Offer reactive AV support to other sites as needed.
What You'll Need:
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Technical knowledge and understanding of AV systems.
Familiarity with networking principles.
The ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
Expertise in AV control systems and audio DSPs.
Working knowledge of Crestron, Extron, and AMX systems.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Exceptional customer service skills.
The flexibility to work weekends as needed.
