Your New Company. A leading property consultancy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Consultant to join their on-site team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects and ensure compliance with statutory health and safety regulations across all phases of construction. Your New Role as the On-Site H&S Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all health and safety practices on site meet legal and company standards. You will play a key role in supporting the Principal Contractor's duties under the CDM Regulations 2015, conducting inspections, and producing comprehensive reports.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
Develop and maintain Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans.
Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations, acting on behalf of the Principal Contractor.
Investigate accidents and incidents, producing detailed reports and implementing preventative measures.
Provide health and safety advice and support to site teams and stakeholders.
Deliver toolbox talks and training sessions to promote a strong safety culture.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Proven experience in construction health and safety on active sites.
In-depth knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015.
Strong background in site safety inspections and report writing.
Experience in managing contracts and fulfilling Principal Contractor CDM duties.
A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
Membership of IOSH (or working towards it).
Desirable Qualifications
Qualified to act as a Principal Designer.
Qualified to act as a CDM Advisor.
Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH).
