Position Overview: - We are seeking experienced and dedicated Oncology Nurses to join a highly regarded cancer treatment centre. You will be responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients undergoing cancer treatments in inpatient, day care, or outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted treatments in line with local and national protocols.
* Monitoring patients for treatment responses and side effects, escalating concerns where necessary.
* Providing emotional support and clear information to patients and their families.
* Managing central lines, venepuncture, and cannulation.
* Collaborating with oncologists, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to deliver holistic care.
* Ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with treatment guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
* Registered Nurse (Adult) with active NMC registration.
* Previous oncology or haematology nursing experience (hospital or community).
* Chemotherapy administration skills and current SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy) competency, or willingness to complete training.
* Excellent clinical judgement, attention to detail, and patient-focused approach.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to provide emotional support during challenging times.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and best-practice care.
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, and weekends
