Oncology Nurse Job Type: Temporary Salary: Depends on Experience Stevenage, SG1 4AB Our client is a large NHS teaching organisation providing acute, diagnostic, and specialist services across four main hospital sites and the wider community. Position Overview: - We are seeking experienced and dedicated Oncology Nurses to join a highly regarded cancer treatment centre. You will be responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients undergoing cancer treatments in inpatient, day care, or outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities: * Administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted treatments in line with local and national protocols. * Monitoring patients for treatment responses and side effects, escalating concerns where necessary. * Providing emotional support and clear information to patients and their families. * Managing central lines, venepuncture, and cannulation. * Collaborating with oncologists, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to deliver holistic care. * Ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with treatment guidelines.
