One-to-One SEND Teaching Assistant – Mainstream Primary
Barking & Dagenham | 8:15am – 4:00pm | Monday to Friday | October Start
At Rising Hope Education, we specialise exclusively in SEND recruitment. We’re proud to partner with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Barking & Dagenham, who are looking for compassionate, committed One-to-One SEND TAs to join their team this October.
This is more than just a role, it’s a chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of children who need you most.
The Role:
You’ll be working one-to-one with pupils with autism and additional needs, either within a mainstream classroom or in small intervention groups. In some cases, you may support children across different subjects, including creative areas such as Art.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Providing tailored 1:1 support to help raise attainment levels
*
Assisting with structured interventions and targeted learning activities
*
Offering nurturing care, encouragement, and consistency
*
Supporting with personal care and toileting, where required
*
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
*
Building trusting relationships with pupils to help them thrive academically and emotionally
What We’re Looking For:
*
Experienced SEND TAs or individuals with transferable skills from care, youth work, or mental health
*
Calm, reliable, and compassionate professionals with a genuine passion for inclusion
*
Comfortable supporting children with autism and complex needs, including potential personal care
*
Able to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team
What We Offer:

Pay rates: £90 – £105 PAYE per day (depending on experience)

Long-term, full-time role (Mon–Fri, 8:15–4:00)
