Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Online Tutor to support a Year 10 student with Maths, English, and Science. This young person requires alternative provision following May half term and would benefit from a consistent, nurturing learning environment.
As a Tutor, you will:
Minimum 1 year of experience in UK schools
Confident teaching all three core subjects at KS4 level
Experience or understanding of working with students with SEMH needs
Strong communication and organisational skillsAbout you:

Strong understanding of the National Curriculum

Schedule:
Initial hours:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings: 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Plus 2 flexible afternoon sessions per week
Total: 6-8 hours per week to start, with potential to increase
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL
Experience working with learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)/ SEMH needs is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)Before You Apply
