About the Operational Trainer job
The purpose of your role will be to plan and deliver engaging training across a busy food manufacturing site. You will work with all departments to ensure teams remain skilled, safe, confident, and aligned with compliance, performance, and company values.
Key tasks
* Plan and deliver engaging training sessions, including inductions, Food Safety, Manual Handling, and Chemical Handling, ensuring compliance with legal, customer, and BRCGS standards.
* Identify skills gaps, provide refresher training, and maintain accurate training records and the skills matrix to ensure audit readiness.
* Develop and review SOPs to reflect best practice and coordinate both internal and external training with accredited providers.
* Measure training effectiveness through feedback, observations, and KPIs, analyse data to drive improvements, and promote company values in all training activities.
About You
* The successful candidate shall have experience in delivering and coordination training ideally within a manufacturing or operational setting. Experience of food production would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of GMP and food manufacturing compliance is essential.
* Experience supporting and audit preparation and compliance reporting would be advantageous.

The Operational Trainer job (ref:8959) is paying £35,000 according to your experience.
The site is based in Cambridgeshire and is commutable from Cambridge, Peterborough, Huntingdon and surrounding areas.
