Job Description

Operations Administrator / Coordinator, Salary £28-30k, Based in Basildon. Working Monday to Friday 35.75hrs, Working on a 12 month fixed term contract We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator / Coordinator to work for a leading company in Basildon. This role providing administrative and organisational support to the Operational teams; Operations Managers, Production Managers, Transport Managers. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced Coordinator or Administrator role within production, manufacturing or operations. The role: Ensuring records are maintained, gaps identified, and proactive steps are made to ensure legal compliance. Ensuring records are maintained and updated with regards to safety and health Assisting with final quality sign off and filing of records KPI reporting. Maintaining training records and identifying training needs Attend daily planning meetings to take minutes and maintain action log. Support Operational Managers in preparing paperwork that is needed to execute works, this includes financial paperwork (e.g. CAPEX requests), work instructions (e.g. gather technical drawings) etc. Candidate requirements: Experience in a fast-paced Coordinator or Administrator role, preferably within production, manufacturing or operations. Highly organised and methodical, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Proactive and customer-oriented, offering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in time management and adept at prioritising tasks to meet deadlines. Works effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a results-driven mind-set. Exceptional planning and problem-solving abilities, capable of anticipating and responding positively to challenges. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
