Time Appointments are currently working on behalf of a manufacturing business based in Bury St Edmunds who are recruiting for an experienced Operations Assistant to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to progress in their career.

The company is in search for a proactive, organised, and fast thinking individual to support with the day-to-day running of the business. It is the perfect role for someone who enjoys problem solving and prides themselves in keeping processes running smoothly.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  * Coordinating schedules and internal communications with engineers and clients

  * Organise and maintain maintenance for machinery and equipment

  * Support with order processing and supporting inventory management

  * Maintain and accurately update records and in-house database across various platforms

  * Streamline and monitor workflows and identify areas for improvement

Skills and Experience required:

  * Essential written and verbal communication skills

  * Background knowledge with machinery and or equipment

  * Experience in scheduling and maintaining records

  * Strong Microsoft Office Experience
