Success Recruit are working with a growing and well-established construction business who are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operations Assistant to join their dynamic team based in Essex.
The successful Operations Assistant will be keen to support in a fast pace, proactive position where no two days are the same. It would suit a job seeker who is looking to start their operational career within supply chain / logistics and that can demonstrate an eagerness to learn or someone that has previously worked in a similar environment processing orders and supporting with general administration.
The successful Warehouse Operations Assistant will be expected to:
* Degree in supply chain / logistics / warehouse an advantage however not essential
* Have 2+ years of experience within manufacturing / production / warehouse environments to support within order processing and delivery
* Demonstrate an ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
* Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include excel

Purpose of the role:
The successful Operations Assistant will play a critical role supporting the Head of Operations and Warehouse Manager ensuring the orders are processed efficiently to support daily orders being maximised and exceed client expectations throughout their journey.
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who wants to develop in an operational position within a manufacturing / production environment that has an interest to increase operational efficiency as well as supporting with the day-to-day admin activities to ensure this department runs smoothly.
Duties will include:
* Liaise across departments including sales, purchasing, and warehouse to support smooth day-to-day operations
* Maintain accurate documentation and records on orders, including reports and customer interactions
* Monitor and report stock levels, support dispatch timelines, and flag any issues
* Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and manage ongoing communications where needed around transport and deliveries
* Prepare reports and presentations using Excel – inputting data
* Ensure all new clients receive a high level of service
* Help drive improvements in operational processes and internal communication
* Oversee diaries, coordinate meetings, and organise logistics for internal and external events
* Supporting with workflow, reviewing staff & orders picked and ensuring busier times are accounted for in advance to support business
* Manage the operations inbox and respond promptly
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm ( some flexibility can be offered to start and finish earlier or later )
Salary: £28k - £30k dependant on experience
