NEOS Engineering are delighted to partner with a leading plant hire company seeking an entry-level Operations Controller to join their team in Weston-super-Mare. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support the digital division, ensuring accurate systems management and excellent customer service while growing alongside a dynamic business.
The Job:
As an Operations Controller – Digital, you’ll maintain the accuracy of the digital division’s systems, managing hire records, contracts, and charges. This varied role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently to support operational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage hire requests and create contracts in the plant management system.
Coordinate with customers, fitters, transport, sales, and workshop teams.
Monitor contracts, invoicing, and chargeable damages processes.
Check equipment availability and ensure accurate, up-to-date records.
Generate purchase orders and assist with stock control.
What You Need:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Proactive problem-solving and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
Good knowledge of Microsoft packages and a full UK driving licence.
