Operations Director
Location: Solihull (with occasional travel)
Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time / permanent

The Role
We are seeking a confident and capable Operations Director to take responsibility for the daily running of a growing care home business. Based in Solihull, with occasional travel required for meetings and option to work remotely 2 days per week , this role is ideal for someone who drives and can operate effectively both on-site and remotely.
You will work closely with the Managing Director and senior team, playing a key role in leading the business as it expands. With four homes currently in operation and plans to open at least two more this year, this is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of a business with strong values and big ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple care homes
* Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and internal policies
* Lead on quality assurance, governance, and operational best practice
* Contribute to and implement strategic plans for growth
* Collaborate closely with the MD and wider team to align operational goals
* Support, mentor and develop home managers and staff
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement across services
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Operations Director, specifically within the childcare or NHS sectors. This is a non-negotiable requirement. A deep understanding of Ofsted regulations and compliance frameworks is essential, as is the ability to lead with confidence, initiative and respect. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, strategic, and able to bring fresh ideas to the table while maintaining high standards of care and governance. You should be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working closely with a passionate team, and has the drive to support growth and positive change. A full UK driving licence is ideal, as some travel will be necessary but this is not mandatory if you are happy to travel via public transport.
