Educate Recruitment Hub are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager / Depot Manager to join their operational hub in Waltham Abbey.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of key drainage and highways contracts across London and the Southeast, managing teams, client relationships, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
✅ Overseeing the planning and programming of works
✅ Promoting and managing safe working practices
✅ Leading and supporting Contract Managers and depot teams
✅ Ensuring contract performance meets KPIs and targets
✅ Building and maintaining strong client relationships
✅ Managing P&L and contract costs
✅ Pricing new works and monitoring delivery
✅ Conducting regular site audits with a focus on quality and H&S
👷 What We’re Looking For:
*
5+ years’ experience in a similar role within drainage and/or highways
*
Strong knowledge of drainage and highways operations
*
Proven ability to manage safe working processes
*
Experience in programming and contract delivery
*
CSCS card (desirable)
*
Health & safety qualification (SMSTS / IOSH Managing Safely – desirable)
