Job Description

Operations Manager – Green Energy Power Generation £60,000 - £75,000 Cornwall SCINERGY Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to oversee an exciting new green energy power generation technology in Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operational leader to play a key role in establishing safe, reliable and efficient plant operations. The successful candidate will need the attitude and aptitude to understand new technology, become familiar with unfamiliar equipment and help develop an effective operational structure. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for: Overseeing the safe, compliant and efficient day-to-day operation of the facility Leading and developing the site’s operational team Helping establish operational procedures, standards and working practices Developing a detailed understanding of the plant’s technology, processes and equipment Monitoring plant performance, availability and operational efficiency Coordinating operational and maintenance activities to minimise downtime Promoting a strong health, safety and environmental culture across the facility Supporting the continued development and successful operation of the technology To be considered for this role, you should have: Management or leadership experience gained within an operational power generation, green energy, oil and gas, or similar process-driven environment Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Shift Team Leader, Maintenance Manager, Asset Manager or in a comparable leadership position Strong operational leadership and people-management capabilities The attitude and aptitude required to learn new technology, processes and equipment A good understanding of safe systems of work within an operational industrial environment A maintenance or engineering qualification would be beneficial but is not essential The flexibility and adaptability required to work with new and developing technology What’s on offer: A salary of £60,000 - £75,000 The opportunity to work with an exciting new green energy power generation technology A key operational leadership position The chance to help establish and develop plant operations An opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the UK green energy sector If you are interested in this role, please apply via the link below or contact Callum Sheppard at SCINERGY Recruitment on (phone number removed) for a confidential conversation
