Operations Manager - Office Furniture Fit-Out Company (Basildon)
A well-established yet rapidly expanding office furniture fit-out company based in Basildon is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee Installations and Logistics. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and play a key role in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the installations and logistics teams, ensuring all projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
Coordinate and schedule deliveries, installations, and other logistics, ensuring effective use of resources and manpower.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Monitor and manage the performance of installation teams, providing guidance and support where necessary.
Ensure health and safety compliance across all projects and sites.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure the efficient management of resources and costs.
Work closely with senior management to help drive the growth and expansion of the company.The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in operations management, ideally within the office furniture sector or a similar industry.
Strong understanding of logistics and installation processes, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within the industry.Salary and Benefits:
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience - there may be some stretch in salary if you have experience working in the Office Furniture Sector
