As Operation Manager you will:
Oversee the daily operations of Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs), ensuring efficient and safe transfers of personnel and equipment to offshore sites.
Develop and implement operational strategies and schedules to maximise vessel productivity while minimising downtime.
Enforce compliance with maritime safety standards and environmental regulations, ensuring the highest levels of safety and reliability.
Collaborate with the Engineering team to maintain vessels and equipment, scheduling regular checks and preventive maintenance.
Manage budgets effectively, tracking costs such as fuel consumption and maintenance to ensure cost-efficient operations.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring service quality aligns with expectations.
The Operations Manager will have the following:
Proven experience in maritime or offshore operations, ideally with exposure to Crew Transfer Vessels or offshore wind projects.
Strong understanding of maritime regulations, including ISM and IMO standards, as well as offshore-specific safety protocols.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience in crew coordination and training.
Excellent problem-solving and logistical planning abilities to handle operational challenges effectively.
Financial acumen with experience in budget management, forecasting, and cost control.
