Job Reference Number: CUR0094 Operations Manager Permanent Cheadle Hulme (fully in-office, with some national travel for conferences, supplier visits, and industry events) Full-time, 9am – 4pm, 3pm finish on Fridays £30,000 – £40,000 per annum + 10% employer pension + 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) + free parking + Christmas bonus + free trade union membership This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and driven Operations Manager to join a well-established organisation. Our client is a not-for-profit financial institution dedicated to giving back to the local community by providing ethical financial services to those in need. Established for over 25 years, they serve people through membership in a large UK trade union. They’re looking for an Operations Manager with proven operations management experience to oversee the service side of the credit union and support the CEO with strategic and regulatory projects. This role will involve managing daily operations, supervising and training member services staff, overseeing payments and compliance processes, and contributing to projects that improve services and systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in the organisation’s future direction, with the opportunity for succession into the CEO role in the longer term. The ideal candidate would be somebody who thrives in an operational leadership position, enjoys working independently while managing a small team, and wants to contribute to an ethical, member-focused organisation.
