Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to join our client , a company operating in the FMCG industry, based in Birmingham.
The Operations Manager will be reporting directly to the Operations Director.
Job Purpose for the Operations Manager role
* Manage 24/7 operations to maintain quality assurance and legal compliance. ?
* Ensure profitability and promote the company’s image. ?
* Uphold customer audit requirements and core company values. ?
Operations Manager Main Responsibilities & Duties
* Oversee day-to-day operations within budget limits and maximize resource use. ?
* Provide leadership and motivation to staff for performance improvement. ?
* Establish and control the annual budget, ensuring financial targets are met. ?
* Maintain customer satisfaction and ensure compliance with legal requirements. ?
* Implement cost control measures and lean principles to reduce waste.
Internal and External Relationships
* Manage relationships with Production Managers, Logistics Manager, and Quality Assurance teams.
* Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and third-party agencies as needed.
The ideal candidate will have food FMCG experience .
